We love to consider the couple at the heart of these very special celebrations, with a service style fit for the venue and proceedings – it could be canapés, cheese platters, a seated meal, or all of the above.
For one soon-to-be-married Quebecoise-French couple, a classic bistro menu with a French Canadian twist was on the cards. Dinner kicked off with an appetizer board featuring chicken liver parfait, pork and rabbit terrine and provençale white bean dip, then confit duck on a bed of sautéed French puy lentils, eschalots and kale for main. To finish it all off, guests were treated to a dessert of oven-warm camembert topped with maple syrup roasted walnuts – a Quebec classic.
